Biometry and storage of Triangle Palm seeds

Abstract Studies on biometry are considered important tools for understanding the germination process of seeds. Moreover, ex-situ conservation palm seeds can cause loss viability over time. The present study aimed to evaluate biometric characterization and effect storage seed Triangle Palm (Dypsis decaryi), a widely used species in Brazilian landscaping. Two independent studies were conducted: I) diaspores II) germination. For biometry, sample 100 was length, width thickness measured.
